moving day

What a day! We started at 6am, after stopping last night around 8pm. Got the truck completely loaded and headed over to the new house. Between myself, my friend Rachel, and the pastor from my church, Mark, we had the 26' truck unloaded by 11am. I had it back to U-haul around 1pm I think. MOST of our stuff is here in the new house - there was some stuff left behind that can be stuck in my car throughout the week. The important stuff is here and the doggie door has been installed :) It's all good. :)

I gave the dogs a tour of their new digs, and all seem impressed, tho I can tell they're stressed because they're a little more clingy than normal. They'll be fine tho. Kota took right to the stairs like an old champ (he grew up with them). Of the three, Chance has had the hardest time with the stairs. He's getting it tho.

There are boxes all over the place, but the bed is set up (and made) and I'm working on getting the Tivo box set up to work with cable again and we'll be good to go. I have to go back over to the old house tonight to get some essentials... the stuff out of my shower would be nice right about now! Aside from some bruises, sort muscles and such, we're no worse for the wear. It's nice to be in the new house, and it will be nicer yet to be rid of the old next week. I loved that house, but dealing with the foreclosure has been a pain.

Internet is up (obviously), tho I can only use it in my bedroom right now, since there is no cable outlet in the office. I'll be going wireless soon. For now tho, it's here in my bedroom and I'm sitting on the floor typing. Not exactly the ideal, ergnomically, but it'll due for a short time.

So there ya have it... we have a new address (again). Let the adventures begin! :)
