Piper got into SOMETHING last night at 9:30pm.
This is what she looked like when I noticed.... lumpy puppy.... :(

I gave Piper some Benedryl and had her rest on an ice pack... she was a really good sport about it!!
Poor P after an 'outside' trip...
and right before we went to bed at midnight.
I woke up with a START at 6am (I rarely wake up at ANY TIME with a start!!) and saw Piper laying by me...
OMG, right? she looks awful and I"m an awful dog mom.... but hey, look... she's still smiling! :)
And a few hours after the cortisone shot.....
Still a bit swollen on the one side, but showing improvement...
and now, I think all of her facial swelling is gone, after careful examination.
Whatever it was that she got into, I hope she learned her lesson. Shesh!
