mini Phoebe? maybe not

Due to the soggy carpet under the sofa, I decided I should move the sofa to sop up the water... To move the sofa meant moving the table AND the chair too. As I debated doing this, I sat there wondering whether Sedona would be like her mother...
She hasn't been too bad! I'm trying to pay a little more attention to her... Since Chance came home, he's been the center of attention, and her widdle ego is suffering for it. She's as nekkid as Hannah Banana was at Nationals now... *sigh*

Kota's party : the highlights

Auntie Kimmie and Jazmine brought cookies for everyone from a doggie boutique near her house. Chance got smaller ones, as these were adult sized.

A good time was had by all... I hear Jazmine has a play hangover, and my guys are pretty whipped too :) We've vowed to get the dogs together on a more regular basis :)

I stepped in something squishy and almost blamed the dogs....

this was my only hint... the water in my doorway to my bedroom. After some investigation, I found that it was the kitchen sink that was leaking. See the bubble in the linoleum?

When my step dad told me to turn off the nobs under the sink to just cut water the sink and not the whole house, THIS happened....

Property Management called and they're sending someone out... two pairs on pants later (got all wet!), four bath towels and a lot of wet stuff from under the sink, at least we have the problem isolated. It was worse not knowing where it was coming from. I almost dismissed the sink, since the one side (under the sink) wasn't wet, but the back and 2nd side were...

I'm just glad it wasn't my refridgerator... I had visions of dollar signs dancing in my head....at least now i wont' have to pay a cent. Let's hope they get this fixed relatively quickly. Let's hope it doesn't take the 11 days it took to get my AC fixed at about this time last year....
