is there such thing as a free feeding Corgi?

I'm starting to wonder... my previous three experiences would have gotten a big ole NO answer to that question, but with Sedona..... well... I think Sedona is a free feeder, as odd as it sounds. She'll eat *some* when "feeding time" comes... but I left her crate open with her food in it, and she's gone back a few times this evening. She's full on eating right now... 2.5 hours after the food was put down.

It makes travelling hard with her, but can you guys think of any reason why i SHOULDN'T let her free feed, if she'll only be getting what I put in her bowl?

here's a picture taken by Jennifer Roberson this last weekend of our 9-12 class.. obviously we were first, Karen Harbert with Dona Ana was second, and Patti Mortensen was third in line with Bettie. You can definately see the lack of maturity when comparing Sedona to the other two bitches in her class (despite the fact that Dona Ana is younger!! :P ) Bettie is a Siren kid out of Sharel Holmes' bitch Cierra (not sure of her registered name). Bettie's littermate Connor, finished the day before.
