Now that I found my show collars and leads (EEK), I'm feeling less frantic. The boys are on a hunger strike, Chance is peeing everywhere, and Kota is going to Joanie's to play with Ace (her sable Pem) and the kids (Eli is out dog showing in Arkansas with his breeder). I have the two wire crates in the car separated by the grooming table and a chair so Chance MIGHT just relax for *part* of the trip... I have Sedona closest to me, thinking that the farther Chance's screams are, the less I'll want to wring his neck. He hasn't eaten in days. Getting the last of the stuff together (including a coffee pot, since the hotel rooms only ever have those dinky ones, and Kim and I will have enough time for enjoying Coffee in the morning) and we'll be on our way... I *really* wish Sedona had stuck to her normal 16 day schedule, but given that she didnt' come IN on time, why on earth should I expect her to go OUT on time, right? *sigh* She's still swollen but is chewing the boys faces off, so I know the swelling will go soon.... not soon enough!
The house is not as clean as I would like for Kim's possible visit after the shows, but oh well.
Well, I'm going to sit down, have a cup of coffee, take a shower and hit the road....
Next report will be from what is said to be, rainy, California. :) (unless I feel the need to blog between here and there of course... thank goodness for the ole Blackberry!)
Wish us luck!
