the first full day....

So as some of you may have noticed, I have my blog set to deny anyone who isn't on the "list" to read... My landlord is on Facebook and she started questioning my getting a 4th dog. The HOA rules say 3 dogs only, and she's a rule follower to the hilt.

Here's my story, so if you guys see it on FB, you'll know what's going on...

I told the landlord that Sedona is going off with a handler for a few months to try and get her Championship (I wish I had the money to really do it!) and after that she'd likely be placed into a pet home. The landlord said it was cool, so long as I didn't have more than 3 dogs at any given time.

So that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

So far no accidents in the house at all.. first night she barked and shrieked and howled... she was PISSED! She settled down in about 25 minutes and we were in quiet by 11:30pm. She woke up at 2am and again at 4am and finally at 7:30am. She pottied each time and went quietly back into her crate. Gooood puppy!

I dremeled her nails and cut her toe hairs today. While she wasn't excited about it, she tolerated it VERY well and let me do it!

She went to PetSmart today and got to meet some folks... I think we'll go again sometime this weekend hopefully.
