she who refuses to eat...

She for some reason, will only PICK at her food, unless she's ravenous... then she will steadily eat kibble by kibble, the whole bowl. What Corgi can hang out by a food bowl and not eat?!?!? what the hell!

And here's it's almost like she's showing off! Little turkey!!! Pretty turkey tho! Good thing for that, or I'd kill her (see post below)

I need your help...

A year into living here and I've escaped any damage to the house thus far.... until today.

Blogger still hates me, and still no word from tech support... almost forcing me to go blog somewhere else... *sigh*

So now... I need advice on how to fix this fine mess that 'someone' created. I *think* it's a seperate end cap .. I'm guessing i might be able to buy one, paint it, and replace the chewed one... thoughts? HELP!!!

And guess where the dogs are going for a while? Yep. Back in crates for 12 hours. *sigh*

the Tale of the Naughty Dogs

I don't have ANY idea why Blogger still won't work right for me... I sent in a Help ticket... haven't heard anything back. In the meantime, I can't get it to right itself... so here you have it.

My dogs... They're naughty. Have I told you that?

My best guess is that SEDONA did this... she's a wood FREAK. if there's a stick in the yard, she's on it! and then not long after that, there's TONS of little stick peices on my patio... *sigh* Some even make their way in the house. Yes. She's a stick dog. So given her liking for wood, I thought that this handiwork was probably hers...

I stumbled upon a forum for American idol.... I saw the results.... I think I'm almost getting to the point of not wanting to watch anymore... it's being made into a joke... and it's frustrating. I love the seeking out of good new talent, but when crap like this is allowed to occur week after week, I just can't take it. I wish there were some way for people like me to complain about it.

I JUST got an email from Isa Ward... the lady who adopted Orion... she included pictures... Oh how I forgot how much I loved that goofy blue boy. Blogger hates me again and won't let me put the pictures how I want them... but here they are anyway ;-) I wont' try to write beneath them, for fear of throwing off the Blogger-space continuum ;-) (damned blogger!) Rion will be 2 this summer... :)

a new venture...

We all can use some extra money right? I figured since I'm not "in" IT right now, and since I'm not "using it", I'm "losing it" (wait, another subject for another time!)... Need to do SOMETHING using my brain.....

I'm printing out 10 fliers right now. Will find 10 mailboxes (we have community mailboxes here) and put them up this weekend. I'll go around next weekend and see if they're still there and see if any of the pull tabs have been pulled...

A girls gotta support a dog habit somehow... *sigh*

Productivity

I wish I had taken a before and after picture, but I went out bright and early this morning and started trimming the bushes and weeds and raking up stuff and taking out dead stuff... now my front yard looks like ... well.... better. Damned bushes grow like friggin weeds! I haven't even mustered the energy to think about cutting the bush in the back yard and taking out the dead stuff yet... the front is what really matters.. the back, well... eh. Filled the trash can with yard clippings... I wish I had seperate cans for "green", "recycle", and "waste". Shoot, we can't even get a recycle can out here! :(
Just finished cleaning the fish tank... had to vaccuum the gravel and change out a bunch of water... Hopefully the fishfaces will be happy with their clean fish tank :) And now it's 12:30... whole rest of the day left... what to do :)
Lunch. I think I'll make lunch!

my widdle puppy doglet

I weighed her using my very inaccurate weighing system, and she weighed in at 30 pounds on the dot. I did it once before but she was hanging off my hip and we came in with 27 pounds. This time she was on my chest, leaning over my shoulder. I think that's a more accurate weight. She's all length and no body! LOL

Kate mentioned in her blog that she was upping Phoenix to the three cups she should be eating, it made me think... Sedona is thin.... picky ass dog. Generally wont' touch her food until Dakota is done with his and even then, it's one kibble at a time... slow. Very UNCorgi like. But, I was only giving her maybe 2-2.5 cups per day... So I'm upping both dogs (until Dakota is in good show weight again) to 3 cups as of dinner tonight. We'll see how long Sedona takes to fill in with the extra food, and we'll see how quickly Kota fills in. I'm very lucky... he gains and looses VERY easily.
We'll see if Sedona will even finish tonights dinner....

I finally had it... just couldn't take it any more... so I wrote to Karen... and this was her reply:

"Please have anyone else you know of who is irritated write to me as well, as soon as I can show there's enough people she's rubbing the wrong way I can let the others decide whether or not to pitch her off the list. She was off for several months after her nasty email last time, then asked to resubscribe just in time to announce her new litter. "
