The last full day in VA

My brother Paul, his wife Tina, and the kids (Autumn, Dakota and Paige) came over on Friday.

the most beautiful picture of Autumn...

Dakota being a typical boy, having fun in the tree

He looks so much like my brother did at that age!

3 year old Paige looking like a little angel (don't let her fool you! ;-) )

Autumn and I (she's the only one of my nieces and nephews who remembered me without being reminded as to who I was!)

It was a great trip... I got to see all of my family and spend quite a bit of time just hanging out at the house with Dad. He doesn't get around all that much any more, so I was more than content just hanging out at home with him. We didn't sit and have intellectual conversations.... just spending time in the same room was more than ok with both of us. I am his youngest biological child, and the only one he has a relationship with. I hated to leave him, and I know he would have loved to have had me stay longer, but life calls and responsibilities don't take care of themselves. I told him I'll try to return in the spring. Hopefully putting that carrot out there will give him another thing to look forward to. While I was sad to leave everyone, I am oh so happy to be home :)

I *AM* TAG'd ;-)

Seems I've been tagged (thanks Jeri).... so now it seems I must play along.... little did she know that not only did she tag me, but I've been TAG'd all my life ;-) (my initials, for those who may not know, are TAG.... yes, they did it on purpose)

The rules:

1) Link to the person that tagged you.
2) Post the rules on your blog.
3) Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4) Tag at least three people at the end of your post and link to their blogs.
5) Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
6) Let the fun begin!

1) I can wiggle my eyes and it grosses people out. Not only does it gross them out, but I enjoy grossing them out ;-) Stupid, but true!

2) I actually *liked* high school. Most people absolutely detested high school, but I found that time in my life to be 4 of the best years I can remember :) I was very active in tons of things, including National Honor society, Softball, Cheer, Key Club, choir and band (yes, I'm a band geek).

3) I can't talk on my cell phone without my blue tooth headset. Stupid, yes, but I swear I need to hands to do ANYTHING and if I'm holding the phone I get very annoyed! What was life like before headsets?!?!

4) I literally have thousands of pictures of my dogs..... I take way too many pictures of my dogs (oh wait, you all already know that!)

5) I like planning pretend road trips. I spend many hours on Google maps plotting out where I want to go, planning which routes to take and where I would stop. My latest has been from Phoenix to Ohio, to Gettysburg (the location of the 2009 Nationals), to my dad's in VA and back to Phoenix. I need a hobby ;-)

6) I have an addiction to bed linens and towels. I've been told I have too many sets of sheets and too many towels, but I can never EVER have enough!!!

Now I tag thee:
JoAnne, Richelle, and Melissa
