oh my gawd what a day... & a random act of kindness

My property management company is evil. I thought I had bounced my rent check, which had me devastated... so I took them a cashiers check for my rent, including the late fee and the NSF fee which they told me I'd have to pay... unbeknownst to me, my actual rent check cleared on 10/5. Bastards should have seen that before I even went down to their office TODAY to take them the cashiers check. You bet your ass I'm going down first thing Monday morning to chew them out for being rude and for taking all my damned money. (more to this story, but for the sake of my fingers and sanity, I won't get into it all here).

So after all that I stopped at taco hell to get lunch and the lady through the squawk box said "you sound like such a pleasant person, would you like a free cinnamon twist?" and I was like "uh.... er.... sure?" So after having the experience from hell with Property Management, I got a free cinnamon twist with my lunch :) that was so nice of her.

I might go up to Sedona this weekend to catch the fall colors... next weekend is the fun match, and by the weekend after I might miss out on the best of the fall colors up there... I want to get pictures of Sedona IN Sedona during the fall (my favorite time). So my favorite thing (desert sunset) in my favorite place (sedona) at my favorite time (fall) :) What could be better??? Kota will get to go too, of course. Maybe we'll go for a short hike in the trees :) Must consult the "Sedona hikes" book on the book shelf :)

Waiting for my guy friend from work who works at a radio station during the weekends to be on the air tonight... I listen to him every weekend before I fall asleep :)
