I just had a revelation!!!

i looked down and started talking to Sedona and said "you're gonna get to see your MOMMY soon... " then I thought about it... Both Sedonas mommy AND daddy will be at Nationals... and I'll be able to get a family picture! :) YAY! :) Nothing can compare to the Phoebe, Gogo, Wally, & Carbon picture, but hey, I can try ;-)

I've read and re-read my emails and every time I read about Kimi Willow, I cry. I cry because a friend is hurting... I cry because a soul was lost too soon. It came so suddenly and unexpectedly... the uncertainty of it all is very confusing and sad. Was it the food? Was it a disorder she had? No, she wasn't my dog, but I knew Kimi Willow well... sassy little thing that she was. Seems wrong that she is gone so soon... I know Megan and Josh did what was right for their girl... no question... but it's so sad they had to make that decision. I think the picture Megan posted on her blog was so incredibly touching... I can't look at it while I'm here at work or the tears will roll again. I'd say it's like we lost family.... but it's not "like".... we DID lose family. We're all one happy little dog family, and now we've lost a young member... a beautiful girl with a spirit like none other.
My heart goes out to Megan and Josh... and Mandy and Henry... her other "mom and dad"... and Carolyn... and Kim & Mark w/ Guppy... and anyone else who has direct ties to that little brindle sand digger with the brindle scarf across her neck.
Run free Kimi Willow... we love you... and we will miss you horribly.
