This is the "before". With our recent rains, weeds are here in full force... I had to clean out all those weeds before I could start...
And here's the "after". This is after a few days of digging and raking and raking and digging... Yes. There is a pile of "stuff" in the corner. I'll get that hauled away in the next day or so.....
Piper wanted to help dig up the weeds. Note the little weed (and it's dirt clot) near her tail. I had tried to get the picture of her holding it, but I wasn't fast enough... She wanted to "help" :)
And here is my "work" area for now.... I'm planting Peas, Spinach, Zuchinni and Cucumber. 
Piper again, making sure I didn't need any more help. :)

And my garden...
I watered and set up a dual hose in the back. One hose to the garden, and another out in the yard with the sprinkler to keep the grass/weed combo going ;-) There will be updates as the garden grows (crossing our fingers) :)
