I've NEVER been a gambling person, but the guys here in the office just got me to partake in my very first football pool. You're shaking your head... I can see it now.... "Traci knows JACK about football".... this is a very true statement. However, the beauty of this pool is that you need to know JACK about football in order to participate. :) The winnings were WELL worth the entry, so I took the dive.... I'm a gamblin' gal ;-) Root for box 93 on Sunday ;-) (twas a good year, so I figured maybe it would give me good luck in the pool ;-) )
In other news, Chancey has been on his antibiotics and Rimadyl combo since Tuesday and he's already showing a MARKED improvement.... I really am convinced now that his infection was causing him pain, and that the meds are really able to do their job now! :) He's still crated during the day while I'm at work (to keep him separate and not playing like a crazy man while I'm gone) and he's not sleeping in bed (to keep him from jumping off my bed). By the time I hand him over (*cry*) to auntie Kimmie, he'll be done with his antibiotics and hopefully won't need more Rimadyl either... we'll see.
Packing begins tomorrow.....
