I drove from home to Willows, CA and then on to Carolyn and Tom's house. On the 6th we went to Crater Lake. We stopped at a
Natural Bridge area where I took many pictures....
From there, we continued on to
Crater Lake. I'd never been before, but had seen my fair share of photos. The area was beautiful, despite it looking a lot like it's pictures (much like I've viewed the Grand Canyon).

The colors of the water were just amazing....
This was entirely ash from the eruption.... it was really interesting to see how it changed the landscape...
Then we stopped at this really pretty area along the side of the road to take pictures....

Carolyn's "perfect tree". This beautiful Oak is near their home, and I would have to agree with Carolyn... it IS a perfect, beautiful tree!!
