it's officially official....

I'm going forward with my breeding plans...

I husband hunted high and low and far and wide, and literally smacked my head when I was talking to Kim S about Glacier. How could I have not looked at him!?

The breeding is a nice line breeding on Carbon. Glacier produces nice puppies that go on to produce nicely themselves as well. Glacier has OFA Good hips, and produces puppies with good hips also. Big Important Factor, given Sedona's one "bad" hip. He has a nice strong rear, and moves like a dream... Sedona's one major downfall (and may well be what's holding her back).

Now the question is.... ship her to Arkansas so Leda can do the live breeding, or have fresh chilled shipped to me and have a local repro vet help out... It'll be a spring breeding for a summer litter...

I'm excited, yet terrified all at the same time. Anyone looking to come to Arizona next summer is MORE than welcome to come and help out! ;-)

Wish me luck!

Skywatch Friday

As I pulled out of the garage and driveway on Wednesday morning, I looked to my left and saw dark ominous clouds to the West.... storms were rolling in. To my left, I saw this.....
Sometimes natures beauty just really makes you stop and take it in....

Happy Friday, and Happy Skywatching!
