YES! THAT is what we needed to do!!!!
Sedona wanted to sleep with the dogs and I in the bedroom, but if we did that, Adam would be downstairs screaming his fool head off... I decided to rig something up so Adam could come upstairs and sleep with us... I laid a plastic lined blanket (Fleece on one side, plastic on the other) down, brought a potty pad and towel up to lay down and brought some stuffies and his little dog bed up for comfort. His water bowl came too, in case he needed it over night. It was wonderful - only hearing a few peeps from the kid over night, and he was never alone, so he was happy (and so was I).
He'll still spend my work days in the expanded whelping/play box under the web cam so I can continue to spy on him, but at night he's graduated to big boy status and is sleeping with the rest of us :)
On a side note: Sedona deserves Mother of the Year awards... she's STILL nursing the kid on occasion - and I know first hand just how pointy and nasty those little teeth are right now... Bless you, Sedona!! :) She still looks great - has an amazing coat still... and she's realized the kid can be played with too! What great fun! :) She's eating her normal amount of food again, and she's eating with the boys like she did pre-Adam. Life is getting back to normal - plus an extra kid, that is. :)
